Horribly weird, I am never reading it again. Thank goodness this is a short story because I don’t think I could have suffered through a full-length novel by Kafka. How to feel and how to react is kind of given to you in that novel while in The Metamorphosis there is not much of an influence of how your supposed to react. Kafka konkret — Das Trauma ein Leben.

Gregor answers his mother and realizes that his voice has changed, but his answer is short, so his mother does not notice. Nobody can understand him and everyone tries hardly to avoid him. I do not recommend this book.
