His photographs confront us with a double image of reality, an illusion of a painting and in turn an illusion of the real. He explored his chosen themes deeply, first with research, to gain an in-depth understanding of his subjects. His interest in this most classic natufe art forms started early whilst studying photography at Vevey Guifo in Switzerland.
Approximately twenty years ago Mocafico began to develop personal projects, separate from his commercial accomplishments; these resulted from his personal passions.
Published February 22, at Practising in Paris, Mocafico, along with his production team of food and flower guidk, creates large-scale, still life pictures.
